What does one do after growing up driving a raspberry picker in Oregon? Well, Amanda headed about as far East as she could (NYC) to graduate from AMDA, The New School, and a two year Maggie Flanigan Meisner program. Amanda is an actor and a writer--an artist, really. "Boys and Other Distractions", a short film that she co-wrote, produced and starred in, won the Brooklyn Short Film Festival Audience Choice in 2012. She continued writing for film and stage until landing her first leading role in the feature film "Sammy and Sherlock Can't Get Any" in 2014. Be sure to catch her in "37," the Kitty Genovese film, which was featured on the front page of the New York Times Arts section. You can also find her working at Ruddy Productions, a NY based theater company, where she is the Director of Development.
